The meats are greasless - lean and the pizza is incredible. Best wings in town at my house but bring your own, they go quick

I sold Trager Grills for years in Dale, WI. I was sold on the grill from the first time I tasted porked tenderloin grilled on a Trager. I purchased my own, my fathers and my father-in-laws.
Consistent!

Laura and I cook in professional bbq contests across the Southeast. Cooking on a traditional offset smoker was very labor intensive and not real consistent. Competition bbq is about consistency. So, I looked into pellet cookers and the Traegers were so highly recommended that I had to try one. The trial went so well that I bought a 2nd Traeger two weeks later. With only a couple weeks of practice, we entered a contest and scored 1st place in Pork and 2nd place in Ribs & Chicken! A week later we scored another 2nd place in ribs. The Traeger Grills exceeded our expectations. Not only did they cook with amazing consistency, but it was just so easy to cook on the Traegers. A few months later we became Traeger dealers because of their wonderful products & support. We love cooking everything on our Traegers. We recently took the Traeger on a camping trip and within minutes of unloading the Traeger, we had 5 or 6 people stop by to admire and inquire about them.
I do lots of practicing on brisket, ribs, pork, & chicken for competitions, but what I really love to cook on the Traeger?.......steak! Ribeyes!

Best Grill Ever!

Best grill ever! A friend of mine in Kansas City turned me on to what good smoked BBQ can taste like so I wanted something with great temperature control. I was tired of charcoal and gas grills and found Traeger and I have never looked back!

I have been using gas and charcoal grills for over thirty years and have tried em all including hardwood smoking barrels. My two older Brothers have had Traeger grills (Lil Texas and Texas) and boasted of the fine quality of Bbq which they produce and yes, I had been served food from the Texas model 075 before. I claimed my nationally known black kettle ruled the home style bbq kingdom! I should add that over the years I have bought many of these three legged beasts ranging in color from red to black. Boy was I wrong. I bought a new Lil Texas Elite after going to a Bbq demonstration in Eureka California and have cooked on it every other day after getting it seasoned (left on high, empty, for 45 minutes to burn off any assembly oils and dust). I have done salmon, beef, chicken and assorted style of ribs. My wife Maryjane states it is the best grilled product she has had, ever! Since we have been married for almost thirty years, I believe her! Well the model I bought is shown in the picture..... the new Traegers are imported from China and sad to say the quality is every bit as good as the Oregon made ones, if not better. Same materials used and better tig welds! The warranty is three years and yes, the Traeger family (USA) stand behind their product. The longest owner of Traeger in my family is my Brother Jeff and his has to have seen the most cooking time! 3-4 times per week for almost 4 years. He has had to have a few minor parts replaced over the years and raves about the customer service satisfaction provided by Traeger.
To sum it up, the Traeger cooks to near perfection and allows the person cooking the wide range of options of long smoking or normal to fast high heat. The pellets provided by Traeger are 100 % natural and a wide varity are avaiable. The food is fully cooked yet very moist and juicy. Try one out!

I stumbled across a demo at a Spring Home and Garden Show in 2003. I was so impressed with the salmon smoked on a Traeger that the cheap little R2D2 looking thing just rusted away after I got the first Traeger 075. I sold it later and got the newer model and then a 070 and a pig, and a 200. Sold them as a dealer also. Not very many people here abouts thought they could afford the Traeger, but they were eager with the praises of the quality of the product. I have sinced closed the business doors and have taken up competition BBQ with a friend. We have done well here and there. Never attained a GC or RGC, YET, but we will work out that in the future. Have had some minor repairs over the years but the well planned replacement procedures are so easy. The hot rod is the toughest. A 4th grader could do it.

I wanted a barbecue that would also function as a smoker, and after checking out the Traegers I quickly decided on the Elite. It is so easy to make great smoked salmon with the grill it almost embarrassing to admit it. Also, as a summer project I took off the legs and built it into a mortared rock hearth and tapped into the exhaust end to pipe to a cold smoker about 4ft away. It works great!
I love my grill and look forward to each use. It's so easy to use and clean and the smoke flavors can't be touched by anything coming off a gas unit.

I ordered a new Lil' Tex Elite a while ago and was initially plagued with all kinds of minor glitches in my new grill. These were diligently worked on by the Traeger people and finally resolved to my satisfaction. I thank Mr. George Koster and his fine staff for all the great help he and they gave me and I will definitely buy another Traeger if and when this one ever wears out. This was the best customer service I have ever experienced. Thanks a million.
Tragerized Salmon

It's me again reporting on my new 07E now that I've had a chance to use it. I smoked a 2 pound filet of salmon on the grill using the "Traegerized Salmon" recipe from the website. It turned out perfect! There's a subtle smoke flavor that's has to be tasted to be believed. This is the best smoked salmon my wife and I have ever tasted. Next I'll try some baby back ribs. I'm certain the Traeger will not dissapoint. Thanks to all the Traeger support people for getting me "up and running" with my new Lil' Tex Elite.

I bought a traeger and ended up being the best grill/smoker. Made ribs for my sons baptism party, pork shoulders, whole chickens and everyone loved it. I have also cooked lamb, fish, steaks, turkeys and burgers. Planing on cooking a 25 lb pig new years day

I found the Traeger online about 2 yrs ago, and have been wanting to get one but hesitated and ended up buying a cheap smoker and used it once. I just bought the Lil Tex E 3 days ago and have cooked 4 meals on it.
My friends are all wanting one - we're already planning many different cook ups. Tomorrow we're doing Guiche. Can't wait to get all the different types of pellets to try.
Tonight was whole Chicken & pork tenerloin. Unreal.

Done the Weber, Car Broil, Holland, Bradley's, would not stop on the side of the road to pick one up as long as my Traeger was in the garage. Reliable product that does what it claims to do. When you go to the Traeger you might as well go ahead and back your truck up and head to the dump with the others. It is a pleasant surprize to buy something that actually does as advertized. Class job guys. Thank You

No need for propane anymore. Once you try the flavor of the food you'll realize how bad propane is. Traeger rules!!!

My father purchased a Traeger and i was so jealous.... then my family bought me a Lil Tex Elite for a house warming gift and i am so happy with it.. i was able to put two 8lb pork loins and a 6 pound pork shoulder on at the same time and cooked for 24 people... this thing is amazing... i love it and im telling all my friends about it....

This grill is amazing! It cooks everything perfectly! Can't go wrong with this grill at all! perfect for the person just starting out in the smoking business! Few tips: keep the grill closed as much as possible it, it can lengthen the cooking time quite a bit! I recommend this grill to all of my friends and will own a traeger till the day I die.

a friend bought one that I had to haul home after countless rounds with the wife gettin the oven dirty cooking deer sticks I bought one I have a ducane gas grill and never thought I would use the traeger for anything except sticks [was I wrong] ribs and brisket now are even better than ever Steaks ?? I still need to see the burn from gas but the two cheap ones I have cooked are slowly winning me over
