Digital Thermostat Control
Digital Thermometer Control
The operating temperature of the grill is controlled by a patented electronic control
board. The digital thermostat control allows you to set the desired temperature.
The RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) monitors the cooking temperature inside
the grill and reports it on the red LED display. When additional heat is needed,
the auger is activated to feed the fire and increase the cooking temperature. Using
this technology, precise temperatures can be maintained for hours on end.
Pellet Hopper
Pellet Hopper
The pellet hopper stores up to 20 pounds of pellets, providing hours and hours of
BBQ bliss. Utilizing the smoke setting, your grill will consume one pound of pellets
every two hours – almost 2 days of constant smoking.
Pellet Auger
Pellet Auger
The auger system delivers precise amounts of hardwood pellets from the storage hopper
to the fire. When activated, the auger simply delivers more wood to the fire. This
precise delivery system enables temperature control that you simply can’t get with
propane or charcoal.

Auto Start
To start the grill, simply turn the knob to smoke and lift the lid. The switch activates
the auger and the draft induction fan and feed pellets and air directly into the
firepot. An electric hot rod, located inside the firepot is temporarily activated
during the first four minutes, long enough to ignite the pellets and start the grill.
The draft induction fan continues to run as long as the grill remains on.
EZ Grease System
The EZ grease system is designed to remove drippings and grease out of the cooking
chamber and helps maintain a clean and flare-up free cooking environment. This system
is comprised of a dripping pan, grease drain and a grease bucket.
Dripping Pan – Directly under the grill is the angled dripping
pan. It is made of steel and extends across the entire surface with the exception
of a small space in front and in the rear of the grill. We recommend that you line
the dripping pan with heavy-duty foil for quick and easy cleanup when needed. Its
two purposes are to drain grease out of the grill, and also to serve as the secondary
point of heat diffusion, forcing hot air through the very front and rear of the
cooking area.
Grease Drain - The drain accumulates the drippings from the grease
pan for simple evacuation into the grease bucket.
Grease Bucket - The galvanized bucket into which excess grease
drains from out of the grill and away from the fire and your food.
Indirect Heat
With the Traeger indirect heat method, you can cook with confidence knowing your
food will be both flavorful and safe. The wood flames are covered by a heat shield
and then by the angled drip pan. The hot smoky air is circulated throughout the
cooking area by the induction fan, creating an even cooking temperature throughout
the grill. Not only do you get even heat with a safe temperature zone, professionals
agree that indirect cooking is better for your health and it produces better tasting
food. Scientists have long recognized that cooking at high temperatures turns healthy
food into carcinogens.
Cleanup
Cleaning your Traeger grill is a simple process. Make sure your grill is turned
off and at room temperature. Simply replace the aluminum foil on the drip pan before
each use or when as needed. After extensive use or every 6 months, remove the grill,
grease pan and heat diffuser and use a shop vac to remove excess ash from the bottom
of the grill and firepot.
Lil' Pig
Is it "Art Deco" or is it a barbecue? You decide, because our Lil'Pig smokes and cooks just like any other Traeger grill. With 418 sq. inches of cooking surface, and internal hopper, stainless steel door handle, multi-position digital thermostat control, and viper casters, this grill is sure to raise a "squeal" from your guests.
