These are the ultimate in Traeger-baked treats. Give your family a sweet treat of warm, homemade cookies. Show them whose boss by cooking them outside on the Traeger and they’ll scramble to get their mitts on messy.

Ingredients

All-purpose Flour2 1/2 cups
Baking Soda1 tsp.
Salt1/2 tsp.
Butter, softened1 1/2 sticks
Packed Light Brown Sugar1 cup
Granulated Sugar1/2 cup
Eggs2
Vanilla Extract1 tsp.
Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips2 cups (12 oz.)
Walnuts or Pecans, chopped (optional)1 1/2 cup

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.

In another bowl beat butter until fluffy. Add brown sugar, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

Gradually mix the flour mixture in. Gently fold in chocolate chips and nuts into dough.

Drop spoonful amounts of dough onto a sheet of aluminum foil.

When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Increase temperature to 350F and preheat, lid closed, for 5 to 10 minutes.

Bake for 17 minutes Tip: Use a new sheet of foil for each batch of cookies to prevent sticking.
