This particular recipe for brisket is our fool-proof, go-to method for cooking the perfect brisket. A combination of low and slow cooking, plus a long braise in it's own beefy juices makes this brisket a ribbon winner.

Ingredients

Flat Cut Brisket4 - 6 lbs.
Sauce:
Worcestershire Sauce1 Tbsp.
Traeger Beef Rub1 Tbsp.
Traeger Chicken Rub1 tsp.
Traeger Blackened Saskatchewan Rub1 tsp.

Preparation

Whisk Worcestershire sauce and Traeger seasonings together in a bowl. Rub mixture into the meat.

When ready to cook, (time for bed!) start your Traeger on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4-5 minutes). Leave temperature set to Smoke, and pre-heat, lid closed (10-15 minutes).

Place brisket on the grill and leave on smoke for 6 hours (overnight), or until internal temperature of the meat reaches 160F.

Remove from the grill and double wrap tightly with foil.

Place back on grill for 2 hours, or until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 200-205F.

Remove from the grill and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

Slice and serve with your favorite Traeger BBQ sauce.
