This tasty side dish just might steal the show. Mushrooms require little prep time and absorb that rich, hardwood smoke flavor. Toss them into any recipe that calls for mushrooms, add a hint of smoke, and an earthy depth to your dish.

Ingredients

Whole Mushrooms, cleaned (preferably White and Baby Portobello)4 cups
Canola Oil1 Tbsp.
Onion Powder1 tsp.
Granulated Garlic1 tsp.
Salt1 tsp.
Pepper1 tsp.
Recommended Hardwood Pellets:Apple

Preparation

Combine all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl.

When ready to cook, start the grill on smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to smoke and preheat, lid closed (10 to 15 minutes).

Place mushrooms directly on the grill and smoke for 30 minutes, then turn the heat up to 450 F and finish cooking, about 15 more minutes, serve warm. Enjoy
