Toast a hearty oat and nut blend on the Traeger to make a granola bar worth getting up for in the morning.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1/4 cup Coconut
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Almond
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 cup Cranberries, Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Dry Apricot, Chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1/4 cup Coconut
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Almond
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 cup Cranberries, Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Dry Apricot, Chopped

Preparation

When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 350 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.

Line the bottom of a cooking pan with parchment paper; lightly spray the parchment paper with cooking spray.

On a separate baking sheet, combine oats, coconut and almond. Cook in the Traeger for 7 to 10 minutes, until lightly toasted. Transfer to a large bowl and add cranberries and dry apricots.

Combine butter, honey, brown sugar, vanilla, chia and salt in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly.

Pour butter mixture over toasted nuts and dry fruit, mix lightly and let cool for 10 minutes.

Transfer to a prepared baking pan, using a rubber spatula. Press mixture firmly into the pan, until mixture is in a uniform layer.

Transfer the entire pan to the refrigerator and chill for 2 hours.

After the granola has cooled completely, lift out of the pan and cut into bars. Enjoy!
