Apple Slaw
2 Whole Granny Smith Apples, Unpeeled
1/2 Small red onion
1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/4 Teaspoon spicy brown mustard
1 Teaspoon Traeger Veggie Rub
1/2 Cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Bratwurst
6 bratwurst links
6 hot dog buns, or Hoagie rolls

    When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 350°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

    Make the Apple Slaw. Using the large holes of a box grater over a large bowl, grate the apples and red onion. Add the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, spicy brown mustard, Traeger Veggie Rub, and melted butter, and toss to combine.

    Insert the probe horizontally into the center of the bratwurst. Place the brats directly on the grill grates, close the lid, and cook for 10 minutes per side, turning once, until the internal temperature reaches 160°.

    Remove the brats from the grill, place in bun, and top with apple slaw. Enjoy!
