Ingredients

  • 1 qty. 20 oz. Snake River Farms Boneless Strip Steak or Rib Steak, Butterflied into Heart Shape
  • 2 tsp. Jacobsen Salt
  • 2 tsp. Freshly Cracked Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Raw Dark Chocolate, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 qty. 20 oz. Snake River Farms Boneless Strip Steak or Rib Steak, Butterflied into Heart Shape
  • 2 tsp. Jacobsen Salt
  • 2 tsp. Freshly Cracked Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Raw Dark Chocolate, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Olive Oil

Preparation

Draw a large heart on a piece of cardboard, shape to size of meat selected. Cut out cardboard heart shape, then trim meat into heart shape.

Combine all ingredients on the cut steak.

When ready to cook, start your Traeger on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4-5 minutes). Set the temperature to 450° F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.

Grill steak for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until you’ve reached desired doneness. Remove from grill. Let rest for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
