When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set temperature to high and preheat, lid closed 10-15 minutes.
Toss the lime slices with granulated sugar and place directly on the grill grate. Cook 15-20 minutes until grill marks develop.
Combine blanco tequila, fresh lemon juice, fresh lime juice and Traeger simple syrup in a mixing glass and fill with ice. Shake vigorously to blend the flavors.
Strain over clean ice and garnish will grilled lime wheel. Enjoy!
