Spare Ribs with Spicy Mandarin Glaze
We love the 3-2-1 method for doing ribs! We wanted to add some Asian flair to this new Traeger rib recipe. These ribs have great flavor that will put this recipe at the top of your recipe list!
- 3 large racks of spare ribs (membrane removed)
- 3 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon of worcestshire sauce
- Traeger Sweet Rub or favorite ribs rub
- 1 bottle of Traeger’s Mandarin Glaze
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 cup honey
- 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
- 24 ounces Dr. Pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Turn your Traeger to smoke 4-5 minutes with the lid open. Then turn grill up to 225 degrees. Rub both sides of the ribs with the Worcestershire sauce and mustard mixture. Place on grill and smoke it for 3 hours.
After 3 hours of smoke place ribs in aluminum foil pan. Pour honey over the ribs, and sprinkle with brown sugar and pour in Dr. Pepper. Cover with foil and turn up grill to 275 degrees for 2 hours.
After 2 hours removed ribs from foil pan and turn grill to high. Mix Mandarin Glaze, sesame oil, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Brush on ribs and place ribs meat side down 8-10 minutes.
Cut and eat!!!
