The more time you spend applying the glaze, the more time you'll have to sip some Bourbon on the sly. Its not your fault that this ham is so big that it takes half a bottle of booze to glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 large Ham
  • 1-2 cups Apple Juice or Cider
  • 1 cup Apple Jelly
  • 2 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 1- 2 Tbsp. Bourbon
  • 2 tsp. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground Clove
  • 1 large Ham
  • 1-2 cups Apple Juice or Cider
  • 1 cup Apple Jelly
  • 2 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 1- 2 Tbsp. Bourbon
  • 2 tsp. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground Clove

Preparation

When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 325 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the apple jelly. Whisk in the mustard, bourbon, lemon juice, and ground clove and remove from the heat and set aside.

Open Grill and glaze ham with reserved mixture.

Continue cooking for another 30 minutes or until a thermometer is inserted into the thickest part of the meat and reaches an internal temperatures of 135 degrees F.

Remove ham from grill and allow to rest for 20 minutes before serving.

Warm remaining sauce and serve with ham if desired. Enjoy!
