When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Keep the temperature on the Smoke setting.
Smoke the collard greens for 10 minutes.
Take collard greens off the grill and turn temperature up to 375 degrees F. Place Dutch oven on the grill to pre-heat (about 15 mins).
In the preheated Dutch oven, cook bacon until almost crisp. Add onions, and sauté 8 minutes.
Add ham and garlic, and sauté 1 minute. Stir in collard greens, broth and remaining ingredients.
Cook 2 1/2 hours or until desired tenderness.
Serve hot, enjoy!
