The mission of the program is to encourage, enhance and speed up the personal recommendations of Traeger grill owners to non-owners, explaining the joys and advantages of owning a Traeger Pellet Grill

Grill owners become Ambassadors by filing out a short application form, which is published in the quarterly Smoke Signals newsletter, and will be placed on our website, which they can then electronically submit.

Once accepted, they will receive an Ambassador badge with their name, pledge certificate, 100 Ambassador business cards to hand out, 100 mini-brochures to hand out, an Ambassador Handbook, pocket thermometer, Traeger Ambassador apron, and a letter of welcome from Joe Traeger.

Ambassador duties include:

1. Promoting the joys and benefits of owning a Traeger Pellet Grill to as many people as possible.
2. Acting as resource person for other local Traeger owners.
3. Assisting Authorized Traeger Dealers during special events or sales-such as demonstrating grills, cooking up food samples, helping out at community cooking events.
4. Helping to identify potential new Traeger dealers in areas currently under-served.
5. Possibly help at Trade Shows with cooking samples, set-up, tear-down and other duties as prescribed.

Most Ambassador applicants have expressed sincere pleasure over telling friends, family members and co-workers about their Traeger Grill. For many, bragging rights have provided plenty of reward. However, as a means of further rewarding our Ambassadors, from time to time we will send them free bags of pellets, sauces, seasonings and other promotional merchandise items we deem appropriate.
