The Process

  • Convection Process

    An induction fan circulates rich, hardwood smoke throughout the cook chamber for even heat and epic flavor distribution.

  • Hopper

    Load the hopper to the brim with 100% Hardwood for hours of smoking and grilling without reloading.

  • Auger

    It fuels the fire, moving Hardwood from Hopper to Fire Pot—briskly for hot and fast, or gradually for low and slow cooking.

  • Firepot

    A hot rod at the bottom of the Fire Pot ignites the Hardwood, keeping the fire going so you can relax and drink a cold one.

  • Energy Economy

    Powered by a standard, household outlet, it uses 300 watts for the first four minutes and only 50 watts for the rest of the cook.

  • Shut Down Cycle

    This sweet setting keeps the induction fan running for 10 minutes to lift residual ash from the fire pot and shuts off automatically.

I just purchased my new grill today at Costco. I decided for my first meal I would cook tri-tip. I used my own blend of seasoning that used before and it absolutely came out fabulous. It is literally the best tasting tri-tip I have ever had in my entire life. After cooking my first meal I now have a new purpose in life to become a professional Grill Master. THE YEAGER' S HAVE A TRAEGER!
We have owned a TRAEGER for 4 years now. Have. not cooked any meat inside our house for 4 years. No matter the season, we TRAEGER when we cook at home. From pizza to ribs, or biscuts to cookies! There is not one thing you cannot TRAEGER! When we purchased our grill, it was easy to assemble and get started. Our friends either already had one, or purchased when we did. LOVE IT! Will purchase another, but no need to yet!

It was an amazing grill!
I had this wonderful grill for about 3 years now, and she has been such a great part of our family. She joins us weekly for Sunday dinner, bringing smiles to everyone around her. Unfortunately last week she had a massive stroke, and is all but dead at this point. I feel the cause of the the stroke was having not cleaned her for some time, and cooking to much on her there was some grease buildup on her underside that decided to give way to a fire. She went from 250 degrees to 500 in about 2 min, and then boy did she fall into a firery frenzy.
Ive referred her sisters to 17 other people to this point because she was so good to us for so long. Im not sure what I'm going to do at this, but as our family works through are struggling emotions we will work through this hard time. Thank you in advanced for your condolences. Q. I would like to know the easiest way to unload the hopper, so that I can change woods for different meats?

A. With this model the easiest way would be to scoop out the remaining pellets from the hopper or planning ahead and letting the grill use the remaining pellets before switching. Newer models have a door that can be opened to dump out pellets to switch.

A. The US versions only use 110v. We do have models designed for European outlets.

Q. What is the temp of the "Smoke" setting on this grill? Also if I'm cooking in very cold weather (1? today), does the grill automatically compensate somehow? Does it know to feed more pellets to stay up to temp?

A. Smoke = 160-200°F If set on 180 or higher the grill will feed feed pellets until it hits the set temp. If it drops below it will start to feed pellets to get back up to that temp. When it is colder outside the grill will use a slightly more pellets to compensate.

Q. Hi, I just purchased a Texas Elite 34 and was looking to add a front table to it. When I looked at the BAC015 table it said that it was good for all Texas Grills with the exception of the Elite 34. Is there a model folding table that is made for the Texas Elite 34 or am I out of luck trying to add this valuable accessory to my Traeger?
