WOOD-FIRED GRILLING

Traditional BBQ style meets classic Traeger cooking. The Select features stainless side shelves and an enclosed storage space which is perfect for the outdoor cooking enthusiast.

The Process

  • Convection Process

An induction fan circulates rich, hardwood smoke throughout the cook chamber for even heat and epic flavor distribution.

  • Hopper

Load the hopper to the brim with 100% Hardwood for hours of smoking and grilling without reloading.

  • Auger

It fuels the fire, moving Hardwood from Hopper to Fire Pot—briskly for hot and fast, or gradually for low and slow cooking.

  • Firepot

A hot rod at the bottom of the Fire Pot ignites the Hardwood, keeping the fire going so you can relax and drink a cold one.

  • Energy Economy

Powered by a standard, household outlet, it uses 300 watts for the first four minutes and only 50 watts for the rest of the cook.

  • Shut Down Cycle

This sweet setting keeps the induction fan running for 10 minutes to lift residual ash from the fire pot and shuts off automatically.

Give your gas bbq away.
I bought this from Costco, like many other reviewers here, my ginormous gas grill with rotisserie, 6 burners and side plate is up for free. There's no going back now.

I was seriously considering a charcoal grill. But the thing with grilling is that you can't visit. You're stuck tending the fire!
No more!

1st steaks and sausage out of the grill have me realizing what I figured all along. There's gotta be a better way! Well.... here it is. Suck it up and pay the bill. It'll be like that prize possession you've always wanted.

Set the timer. Walk away. Seriously.

Best grill ever!
This grill is the best out there!!! We have been looking for over 3 years for a new grill, but just could not justify spending close to $1000 for a gas grill. What sold us on this was the fact that it does everything and does it!!! We have had several people over for dinner and they all rave about the food. One of our friends even bought one after he ate at our house.
If you are on the fence about this grill...don't be. Go get this and you will not be sorry. The flavor is amazing and the temperature probes are a great feature. Did not take long to put together and the directions were spot on.
So glad we held out for this bad boy. We will always be part of the Traeger Nation now!
