WOOD-FIRED FUEL

Taste the bold difference that Traeger Maple pellets can infuse into all your home-grilled food. Master the craft of outdoor gathering with flavorful food fueled by Maple hardwood.

The Process

  • Convection Process

An induction fan circulates rich, hardwood smoke throughout the cook chamber for even heat and epic flavor distribution.

  • Hopper

Load the hopper to the brim with 100% Hardwood for hours of smoking and grilling without reloading.

  • Auger

It fuels the fire, moving Hardwood from Hopper to Fire Pot—briskly for hot and fast, or gradually for low and slow cooking.

  • Flavor

Maple trees hail for the Northeastern states, their wood pellets infuse food with a thick and sweet flavor profile.

  • Pairing

Maple pellets compliment pork, beef, and veggies with a sweet and woodsy flavor.

  • Mill to Grill

Only Traeger mills their own pellets from recycled trees to ensure they’re 100% natural and no artificial binders are used. Pellets are bagged and delivered directly to a Traeger warehouse for distribution.

Healthy Eating

Food cooked over wood fire simply tastes better. The rich, hardwood smoke circulates throughout the cooker, naturally flavoring your food. With no need to over salt and oil your foods, you’ll create simpler, healthier meals.

The Science
Behind Hardwood

Traeger has dedicated years to developing premium blends of hardwood with the compact cell structure needed for a balanced, dependable burn with less than 1% ash content—no fillers, no binding agents, no bark content—just natural flavor.

Q. How long does a 20lbs bag of pellets last
Chris
Corcoran, California
A. Typically a 20 pound bag will last for 10 hours, with the grill burning 2 pounds per hour. It is dependent on how you cook -- if you do more low and slow smoke, you will burn through less, if you typically grill on high you will burn through slightly more.
