Lil' Tex Pro Series - Bronze
Absolutely love my pellet grill and best of all I love the Traeger recipes that make trying different meats really easy! I appreciate the slow cooking/smoking method of this grill which allows me to do other things in preparation of my feast! I'm batting 100 on the brisket and 'burnt port butt ends' that I recently tried and of course the wings and steaks turn out delicious too. I purchased a bunch of Traeger rubs and shakes and BBq sauce and really like all of them which adds to the success of the meals that I prepare on this grill and last but not least I have used the pellets recommended by the recipes and have been happy with the results. So there, I can't see where it can get much better!

I love my grill and have tried 5-6 of the spices and wood flavors.
Nothing could be better except if my wife would let me by the new Timberline!

Thoughts on my Traeger Grill
I had owned Weber Grills for most of my life and they done a pretty good job on grilling but it was hard to control the temperature and you always had to clean out the used briquettes.
We bought the Traeger Grill about 4 months ago and it is fabulous for smoking and grilling. Extremely happy with that.
However we have had problems with it turning off by itself when we are smoking.
I called service and they told me what to do but not being real handy at that type of stuff I asked if they had technicians that could do this for me. However they do not but advised me to contact the dealer where we purchased it and they said they were not certified to work on the grills....A bit frustrating! Hopefully I can fix this problem.
Other than that the grill is fabulous!
