Simple Brined Turkey
1/3 cup(s) salt
1/3 cup(s) brown suger
1 gallon(s) water
1 Whole juice of a lemon
1 Whole juice of an orange
6 pieces of bacon
fillet the breast off the turkey and cut off the legs and wings..discard the rest..
dissolve the salt and suger in two quarts of water..add the juice of the lemon and orange ..pour the mixture into a gallon and a half zip lock bag and add another 2 quarts of water to he mix..
add turkey to the mix and let set in the refridgerator overnite or twenty four hours...
remove the meat from the bag and rince off with cold water..place on the grill skinside down..place two strips of bacon over the exposed meat..the legs and wing just split the skin and place a piece of bacon over the exposed meat..
set the temp at 220 degrees and check after 2.5 to 3 hours..the temp should be about 165..
