  • 1 (#10 can, about 6 pounds and 10 ounces) baked beans (recommended: Bush's)
  • 8 slice(s) Diced Bacon
  • 1 Finely chopped seeded red bell pepper
  • 1 Finely chopped large Vidalia Onion
  • 1/2 cup(s) peach schnapps
  • 3/4 cup(s) Loosely packed brown sugar
  • 2 cup(s) canned peach pie filling
  • 1/2 cup(s) Traeger Mandarin Glaze barbeque sauce
  • 1 cup(s) merlot wine
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Traeger Sweet Rub
  • 2-1/4 teaspoon(s) Traeger Blackened Saskatchewan

Preperation Steps
  • Preheat the Traeger to 300 degrees F.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook, stirring, until somewhat crispy and its fat has rendered. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain, leaving the fat in the skillet. Add the pepper and onion to the skillet and cook, stirring, until softened, about 6 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a large baking pan.
  • Add the bacon, beans, pie filling, peach schnapps, brown sugar, Mandarin glaze, merlot, and rub to the pan. Mix to combine.
  • bake, uncovered, in the your Traeger until hot and a crust forms on the top, about 2 1/2 hours. Stirring every 1/2 hour to incorporate smoke flavor into your beans.YUMMY!
