My Peach Chipotle BBQ Sauce1 (28 ounce) can peaches, undrained, recom. Margaret Holmes Osage1/2 onion, chopped 1/4 cup molasses 1/8 cup brown sugar ¼ cup ketchup 1 tablespoons red wine vinegar 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon chipotle chilis in adobo1 tsp ground ancho chili pepper or chili powder1 tsp smoked paprika¼ tsp cumin 1 tablespoon minced garlic, or 1 tsp dried1 tsp ground ginger1 tsp kosher saltOne or two dashes of nutmeg, fresh ground is bestDirectionsCombine all ingredients in blender or food processor & puree. Simmer in saucepan over medium low heat until reduced by 1/3 to 1/2. Taste for seasoning! Makes just over a pint. I used 1 chipotle pepper & about ½ tsp of the adobo sauce to me it was mild heat, add more if you like more heat.
