Ingredients:
  • 1 Jimmy Deans 1 pound Sausage chub (Sage, Maple, Regular, Hot)
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Texas BBQ Rub or your favorite

Preperation Steps
  • Preheat the grill to 225°, clean the grates.
  • Remove the outer plastic wrapping from the sausage chub. Leave the chub whole.
  • Place on a plate and coat the outside with the rub rolling the chub to get good even coverage.
  • Place on the grill and cook until the internal temp reaches 155 degrees. about 2 hours @ 225°. If cooking with other foods at a different temp adjust the time accordingly.
  • Wrap in HD foil, warp in a tea towel and let rest for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the towle and foil, place on a cutting board and slice in 10-12 pieces.
  • Serve plain, or with cheese and crackers.
