Cowboy Barbecue Beans
2 15 ounce cans Ranch Style Beans
2 Diced Slices of Thick Bacon
1/2 cup(s) Minced Onion
2 Minced Canned Jalapeno Peppers
1/2 cup(s) Barbecue Sauce (I like Stubb's)
2 teaspoon(s) Liquid Smoke
In a 2 quart sauce render bacon untill just starting to crisp
Add onion and jalapeno and saute untill just tender
Add beans, barbecue sauce, and liquid smoke stir and transfer to a baking dish
Start Traeger on smoke setting untill lit and preheat to 350 degrees
Place dish on grill and cook about 45 minutes untill heated through and start to thicken a little. Stir once in a while so they don't stick. Makes a good hearty side.
