It's Another Tequila Sunrise Smoked Salmon

  • 2 - 2 pound copper river salmon fillets - skin on
  • 1 cup(s) your favorite anejo tequila
  • 1/4 cup(s) grand marnier
  • 3 cup(s) fresh orange juice
  • 1/8 cup(s) grenadine

Preperation Steps
  • make a batch of tequla sunrise. hell, make 2 and drink one!
  • pour one batch over smoked salmon, skin side down, marinate overnight.
  • place on grill set to "smoke" for two hours, skin side up. smoke for 2 hours.
  • flip salmon over, pour remaining tequila sunrise over flesh of salmon, close lid, continue smoking for 1/2 hour.
  • turn grill off, leave salmon on grill to cool copmpletely - about an hour.
  • EAT!!!!!!!!
  • place any remaining salmon (good luck with that!) in the fridge - repeat "eat" process as needed.
