Traeger Fries with Chipotle Ketchup Grilling French Fries is not only healthier than frying them in oil, but it gives them a great, crispy texture, and infuses them with savory wood-smoke flavor that you just can’t get from an oven. We’ve paired these scrumptious, thick cut potatoes with spicy chipotle ketchup for dipping and topped them with Traeger Beef Rub for a bold pop of cracked pepper and a hint of zesty citrus. Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu Sure, deep fried chicken cordon bleu is a delicious classic. We've actually come to favor our baked version, coated in flavorful and crispy panko bread crumbs and cooked over Traeger's tasty wood smoke. For a bonus layer of flavor, mix equal parts mayonnaise and mustard and spoon on top of the chicken right after baking or serve on the side as a dipping sauce. Type: Post

Holiday Appetizers: Grilled Shrimp with Mustard Sauce Classic shrimp cocktail is a holiday staple around these parts. This year, we thought it would be fun to add in a little extra flavor in the form of a tangy marinade and savory dipping sauce. We had to include the traditional cocktail sauce to appease the purists, but we caught them stealing extra spoonfuls of this delicious mustard sauce when they thought we weren't looking. Type: Post

Zesty "Bang Bang" Shrimp Skewers In case you haven't heard all the scuttlebutt (it's a word!), Bang Bang Shrimp is all the rage. Those crunchy, breaded shrimp fried up to golden-deliciousness and then smothered in a spicy, creamy sauce are irresistible! The dish originated at the Bonefish Grill and is pretty much "da bomb". So why feel restrained to enjoy it by your proximity to a restaurant when we can recreate it ourselves? On the Traeger, of course. Type: Post

Smoked Pastrami Burgers with Homemade "Fry Sauce" We love trying local and regional favorites everywhere we go, and one mid-west specialty left us hankering for more and uttering the most spoken phrase in our vernacular, "We could Traeger that." Meet the Pastrami Burger. Made famous in Utah by a local burger joint Crown Burger that slices their pastrami fresh off of a rotating spit for each order, these burgers are coveted gems and have been recreated (or at least attempted) by almost every burger joint in the area. We turned the Pastrami Burger into a Traeger classic by grilling the pastrami meat right alongside our burgers to add a ton of extra flavor and a little of the delicious "crust" the original burger's pastrami gets from roasting on the spits. And of course, any recipe from Utah wouldn't be complete without the state's condiment of choice, Fry Sauce! Basically, it is a seasoned combination of ketchup and mayonnaise. We Traegerized it a little by using Traeger's BBQ sauce combined with the mayo for a bit more of the smoky kick we love around these parts. Slather it on top of your burger, dip your fries in it, or lick it straight out of the bowl. To buy the original fry sauce Click here. Type: Post

Pulled Pork Enchiladas with Smoke Roasted Red Sauce To celebrate Cinco de Mayo (or pretty much any time you want to fill your mouth with deliciousness) we came up with some flavorful Mexican favorites that are absolutely amazing hot off of the Traeger. Originally, enchiladas were served as street food and were simply corn tortillas dipped in chili sauce. We knew we could do so much better. Type: Post

Sausage and Pepper Skewers We confess. We didn't study "Kebabing" in the remote deserts of the Middle East. (Should you find that class, sign us up!) But with a Traeger at our hips we all feel like experts. Yes, there actually is a science to "skewering" or "kebabing". It has to be slightly charred on the outside yet perfectly cooked on the inside with a marvelous balance of meat, veggies and sometimes even fruit. Although the Traeger makes it pretty easy to achieve success, allow us to give you a few kebab tips to keep up your sleeve: Type: Post

Treager on a Budget: Skewered Buffalo Chicken Tenders with Bleu Cheese Sauce With prices at the meat counter steadily rising, we thought we'd feature a few recipes from Traeger's fantastic cookbook "Traeger on a Budget" in an effort to help you get the most out of your dollar. One of our favorite recipes calls for chicken tenders. Chicken isn't always the cheapest cut of meat (although typically rather affordable) especially if you opt for boneless, skinless chicken breasts. One secret to get the same great taste, flavor, and lean trimmed meat as a breast without the price tag is to buy chicken tenders. These strips of breast meat are often cast off after butchers trim down chicken breasts so they can get a more uniform appearance on the breast. We paired these particular tenders with the ever popular buffalo sauce and a blue cheese dip that might literally make your taste buds explode from unadulterated flavor joy. Type: Post

The Ultimate Traeger Snack-Off! How To Smoke Your Favorite Snack Food When we first heard reports of Traeger fans smoking cheese crackers, we knew that you were all onto something special. We already had a smoky snack mix recipe in our Kids Cookbook that used smoked nuts (which are delicious, by the way!) but never went so far as to smoke the crackers too. After trying the smoked cheese crackers, we were hooked. All those wasted years, eating regular un-smoked snacks. Wasted, I tell you! Type: Post
