What's this?

Make it a triple. Beef patties are stuffed with three different cheeses and topped with double the bacon for a burger you'll melt for.

Ingredients

  • 8 Slices bacon

  • 3/4 Pound ground beef

  • 3/4 Pound Bacon, ground

  • To Taste salt

  • To Taste pepper

  • 4 Swiss Cheese, 1/2" Cubes

  • 4 Cheddar Cheese, 1/2" Cubes

  • 4 Mozzarella Cheese, 1/2" Cubes

  • 4 hamburger buns

  • To Taste Pickle, slices

  • To Taste romaine lettuce leaves

  • To Taste tomatoes

Steps

  • 1

When ready to cook, set the Traeger to 350℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
  • 2

Place bacon strips directly on grill grate and cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until rendered and crispy but not burnt. Remove from grill and set aside.
  • 3

Turn grill up to High and preheat lid closed, for 10 minutes.
  • 4

Mix the ground beef, ground bacon, salt and pepper to taste in a large bowl. Form the mixture into 8 equal-size balls.
  • 5

Press the 3 different types of cheese cubes into the center of each ball and cover completely with meat. Form the balls into hamburger patties, about 1/4" thick. Grill burgers until desired doneness and remove from grill.
  • 6

Toast buns on grill for 1 minute. Place burgers on buns and top with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickle, and bacon strips. Top with your favorite condiments. Enjoy!
