Combine yeast and warm water in a small bowl to activate yeast. Let sit until foamy 5-10 minutes.
Combine dry ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook. Pour water and yeast into the dry ingredients with the machine running on low.
Add butter and egg and mix for 10 minutes gradually increasing the speed from low to high. '
Form the dough into a ball and place in a buttered bowl. Cover with a cloth and let dough rise for approximately 40 minutes.
Transfer risen dough to a lightly floured surface and divide into 8 pieces forming a ball with each.
Lightly spray a cast iron pan with cooking spray and arrange balls in the pan. Cover with a cloth and let rise 20 minutes.
When ready to cook start the Traeger according to grill instructions. Set the temperature to 375 degrees F and preheat, lid closed 10-15 minutes.
Brush rolls with egg wash and bake for 30 minutes until lightly browned. Serve hot. Enjoy!
