Say goodbye to store-bought and hello to homemade. Protein bars don't get any sweeter than this; oats, cherries, honey and a little vanilla make these bars go the distance.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ROLLED OATS
  • 2 cups FROZEN ORGANIC CHERRIES
  • 1 cup APRICOTS, REVIVED IN HOT WATER FOR 5 MINUTES AND DRAINED
  • 1 SCOOP VANILLA PROTEIN POWDER
  • 2 Tbsp ORGANIC HONEY
  • 1 tsp ORGANIC VANILLA EXTRACT
  • 1 cup ROLLED OATS
  • 2 cups FROZEN ORGANIC CHERRIES
  • 1 cup APRICOTS, REVIVED IN HOT WATER FOR 5 MINUTES AND DRAINED
  • 1 SCOOP VANILLA PROTEIN POWDER
  • 2 Tbsp ORGANIC HONEY
  • 1 tsp ORGANIC VANILLA EXTRACT

Preparation

When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 350 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.

In the bowl of a food processor, add cherries, apricots, vanilla protein powder, honey and vanilla. Pulse about 10 to 15 times, to break the fruit into smaller pieces and to mix all ingredients.

In a separate bowl, fold together oats and fruit mixture. Transfer mixture to a loaf pan or silicone mold and place in grill.

Bake for approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool completely and cut into 8 pieces. Enjoy!
