Form eight 1/3 lb patties
Season each patty generously with Traeger Beef Rub.
When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 350 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.
Place bacon slices directly on grill grate and cook 15-20 minutes or until crispy. Increase grill temperature to High and preheat, lid closed, for 10-15 minutes.
Place burger patties directly on grill grate and cook for 4 minutes each side or to desired doneness.
Top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and cook, lid closed, until cheese melts.
To serve, top each bottom bun with Texas Spicy BBQ sauce, pickles, patty, and repeat with BBQ sauce, pickles, patty, sauce and pile with bacon. Top with top bun. Enjoy!
