A Smoking Classic Cocktail

This cocktail is cause for celebration. Smoked orange bitters meet a hint of sweet before getting topped with the bubbly stuff and a lemon twist finish.
1 bottle angostura orange bitters
splash of water
5 sugar cubes
4 OZ CHAMPAGNE
When ready to cook, set temperature to 180℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
For the Smoked Orange Bitters: In a small skillet, combine 1 bottle of angostura orange bitters with a splash of water and 4 sugar cubes.
Place skillet on the grill grate and smoke for 60 minutes. Cool the smoked bitters and put back into the bottle.
Add a sugar cube to each champagne flute and soak the sugar cubes with the smoked bitters.
Add champagne and a lemon twist in a flute glass. Enjoy!
