Ingredients

2-3 racks BABY BACK RIBS

KOSHER SALT, TO TASTE

CRACKED BLACK PEPPER, TO TASTE

Preparation

Peel membrane from backside of the ribs. Season both sides of ribs with Kosher salt and cracked black pepper.

When ready to cook, start your Traeger according to grill instructions. Set the temperature to 225 degrees F and preheat, lid closed (10-15 minutes).

Cook at 225 degrees F, meaty side up for two hours. Flip ribs to the meaty side down and cook for an additional hour. Enjoy!

Modified this recipe just a little
I combined 2 traeger recipes...one said cook at 250F for 3-4 hours but that seemed a long time for 250F so I used 225F and cooked a little over 3 hours. Seasoned ribs with Famous Dave's Rib Rub, wrapped, and kept in the refrigerator overnight. Cooked 4 racks of baby back ribs meat side up at 225F for 2 hours (I sprayed Dr. Pepper on the ribs every 20 min to keep the outside moist. Dr. Pepper you say? Try it on beef or pork, works great) Flipped them over meat side down for 40 min (adding Dr. Pepper every 20 minutes). Last thing is to flip meat side up again, brush your favorite BBQ sauce (I used Trader Joe's Kansas City BBQ) then cook another 30 minutes to allow the sauce to tighten up. Ribs turned out great. I have a large Texas Traeger grill, and used Hickory pellets which works well with the BBQ sauce.
