Smoked BLT Sandwich

Bacon, bacon and more bacon. Traeger smoked bacon, lettuce, and tomato. Pile this classic as high as you want and when in doubt, add more bacon.


2 lbs Thick cut bacon

8 slices Texas toast

3 heirloom tomatoes, sliced

2 heads butter lettuce

1/2 cup mayo


When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 350 degrees F and preheat, lid closed for 10-15 minutes.

When the grill is hot, place the bacon slices directly on the grill grate and cook for 15-20 minutes or until crispy.

To build the sandwich, smear mayo on two pieces of toast. Layer lettuce leaves, tomatoes, bacon and top with the other piece of toast. Enjoy!
