When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to High and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.
Place onion slices, jalapeños and franks on the grill. Cook jalapeños and onions 4 minutes or until lightly browned and tender.
Cook franks for 8-10 minutes, flipping once until lightly browned and warmed through.
Coarsely chop onions, jalapeños (removing seeds depending on desired spice level) and toss with kosher salt.
Smear cream cheese on each hot dog bun. Top with frank, then onion jalapeño mixture, and yellow mustard. Enjoy!
