What's this?

Rub it, mop it, sop these babies in BBQ sauce, our smoked baby back ribs recipe makes a ton of sweet & tangy BBQ pork & they’re perfect for hosting a fight night rendezvous with your crew.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1/2 Cup water

  • 1/2 Cup Traeger BBQ Sauce

  • 2 Tablespoon Traeger Pork & Poultry Rub

  • 3 Rack baby back pork ribs, membrane removed

  • 1 As Needed Traeger Pork & Poultry Rub

Steps

  • 1

In a mixing bowl, combine vinegar, water, barbecue sauce, and Traeger Pork and Poultry rub. Set the sauce and a barbecue mop or basting brush grill-side.
  • 2

When ready to cook, set the Traeger to 325℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
  • 3

Arrange the ribs on the grill grate, meat-side up.
  • 4

Grill for 30 minutes, then start mopping. Mop every 15 minutes. After 2 hours, check the ribs for doneness.
  • 5

Insert a toothpick between the bones in the center of a rack. If there is little or no resistance, the ribs are done (or close to it). If the ribs are not to your liking, continue to grill them in 30-minute increments, mopping every 15 minutes.
  • 6

When the ribs are done, transfer them to a cutting board and give them a final dose of the mop sauce. Sprinkle lightly with Traeger Pork and Poultry Rub.
  • 7

Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before cutting into half slabs or individual ribs. Enjoy!
