Hardwood Oak

This one's wrapped in wood-fired smoke. Brandied cherry juice, ginger and agave syrup are smoked and shaken together with scotch for a rich and aromatic drink.

Ingredients

0.5 OZ smoked GINGER SYRUP

0.25 OZ Brandied CHERRY JUICE

0.25 OZ agave nectar

2 OZ SCOTCH

0.75 OZ LEMON JUICE

Grilled Lemon, to garnish

Cherry, to garnish

Preparation

When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). 

Place ginger syrup, cherry juice and agave syrup in a shallow dish and place the dish directly on the grill grate. 

Smoke for 60-90 minutes or until the mixture has picked up the smoke flavor. Remove from grill and allow to cool for 30 minutes. 

Place all ingredients into a shaker tin and shake with ice. Strain into a glass over fresh ice and garnish with grilled lemon wheel. Enjoy!
