What's this?

If you’re going to overdo it on one dish this Thanksgiving, get stuffed on this delicious homemade stuffing.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup butter

  • 5 Stalk Celery

  • 1 Large Onion, Sliced

  • 3/4 Teaspoon Jacobsen Salt Co. Pure Kosher Sea Salt

  • 1/2 Teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 Teaspoon chopped sage

  • 1 Can chicken broth

  • 1/2 Cup water

  • 2 White Bread, sliced firm

  • 1/2 Cup fresh parsley

Steps

  • 1

When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 325 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • 2

In 12-inch skillet, melt margarine or butter over medium heat. Add celery and onion, and cook until tender, stirring occasionally.
  • 3

Stir in thyme, salt, pepper, sage, chicken broth, and 1/2 cup water; remove skillet from heat.
  • 4

Place bread cubes in very large bowl. Add celery mixture and parsley; toss to mix well.
  • 5

Spoon stuffing into 13-inch by 9-inch glass baking dish; cover with foil and bake 40 minutes or until heated through. Enjoy!
