For a delectable date-night dinner, give this small cut of meat a simple wood-firing then enjoy the most tender, succulent piece of grilled beef on the planet.
How many people are you serving?
Units of Measurement:
In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, garlic and softened butter. Rub on both sides of filets. Let rest 10 minutes.
When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 450°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
Place steaks directly on the grill and cook for 5 to 8 minutes on each side, or until the filets reach an internal temperature of 130°F to 135°F for medium-rare. Enjoy!
Pro Tip: With filets there will not be much marbling, so look for a rich, red color.
