Smoked Honey Vinaigrette and Hazelnut Salad

Dress your greens with sweet and smoky flavor. This salad features butter lettuce and pecorino cheese with a hazelnut crunch that’s the perfect complement to any main dish.

Ingredients

Smoked Honey Vinaigrette

1/4 cup LEMON JUICE

2 tbsp SMOKED HONEY

1 SMALL GARLIC CLOVE

SALT AND PEPPER, TO TASTE

3/4 CUP OLIVE OIL

Hazelnut Salad

2 heads BUTTER LETTUCE, WASHED AND TORN

1/4 cup HAZELNUTS, TOASTED & SKINS REMOVED, CHOPPED

SHAVED PECORINO Cheese, AS DESIRED

Preparation

For the vinaigrette: Place all vinaigrette ingredients except the olive oil in a blender and pulse to combine.

With the machine running slowly pour in olive oil to emulsify. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine all ingredients for the salad in a bowl, toss with dressing and finish with smoked salt. Enjoy!
