Seriously, what are you waiting for?
Brisket? Check. Pork shoulder? Check. Chicken? Check. Salmon? Check. Pizza? Check. Jerky? You guessed it....CHECK. This thing is amazing and foolproof. You think you suck at grilling/smoking? Buy the Traeger, and those days are over. Simply the best, well worth the price point. 5 STARS....Go get it, and get ready to roll your old grill out by the garbage can. Or use it as a flower pot. You get the picture...#TraegerRules.

Love my Texas Elite 34
My wife got me the Traeger PTG for Christmas for our RV and after using it a few times and naturally had to upgrade to larger Traeger for the house. I purchased my Texas Elite from Costco during their Traeger sale and have absolutely loved it. I've been doing a lot of experimenting with it and everything has turned out great. You can't go wrong with a Traeger (or two).

Love this grill!
I bought this grill at the Costco Traeger event in August 2017. This is my first wood fired smoker. With that said, I had a short learning curve (and i’m Still learning), but everything i’ve Cooked has been awesome! I loved my Weber grill, but they are not the same thing by any measure. So much so, I haven’t used my Weber since I got the Traeger. The wood fire adds so much flavor to the food!
I live in Minnesota, so the winters are cold. I’ve been waiting for temps in the 30’s to start cooking again. I got the insulating blanket, and I think the grill will do fine in 20° days, but I have my limitations. I got the blanket to extend my grilling seasons on both ends. I was hoping for a New Year’s prime rib roast, but temps have been weeks. I also got the front fold down shelf, and I would say that is a must.
I have to say that this grill is my every weekend all summer, spring, and fall. I absolutely love it! If you like your grilling, go for it. You won’t be sorry.
I also looked as several different smokers, and I shopped for 2-3 years. I don’t take this kind of monetary investment lightly. I’m happy I picked Traeger, not only for their support of the grill, but also for the support of the accessories, and perhaps most importantly the wood pellets. Nothing is disappointing me yet.

Q. I just purchased this grill and am concerned that everything I make will have a smoky taste? If I use the gourmet pallets how would that turn out?
Daun Henning
Brooklyn Park, Minnesota
A. You can control the amount of smoke flavor on your food by temperature and cook length. Longer cooks on low temps will produce a smoked taste. Shorter cooks on higher temps will produce more of a wood fired flavor.

Q. How do I unpack the grill with one person?
Loyd Ellis
Peoria, Arizona
A. You would just take the top box off set the grill on its back and attach the legs. You might need someone to help you set the grill right side up when you are done though. We recommend offering a friend something off he grill for helping put it together.
