Smoking Bull in the ROK
Bought the grill at a Costco Store when we lived in Washington but then got orders to Korea so we shipped it to Korea with our House Hold goods and finally unboxing and assembling it in Yongsan and it did a great job cooking everything. we also had bought the front shelf and upgraded thermostat, cold smoker and bull bull head Exhaust but dud did not add them to the grill until my job moved us to Camp Humphreys where our house is 110 and 220v wired but still use surge protection as insurance. since we put it together it made it look like a smoking bull and the cold smoked cheese and ham is perfect. When we cook pizza it does circles around Pizza Hut. For the Turkey we coked it for 10 hours at 180 and the meat fell off the bone which was made easier with the upgraded thermostat that came with the 2 probes. Definitely recommend getting the shelf for it especially when dealing with hot heavy trays or soups. We usually invite troops over and cook meals for them with it an everyone has said how delicious the food cooked in it comes out. Only thing I wish is they could shipp pellets and rubs to APO address as for now AAFES sells the Juniors and Hickory pellets at the Humphreys Exchange but after the summer season ends we may not be able to buy more pellets and may have to look at other sources for pellets. One improvement I would like to see for it is a bottom shelf for it. Portability I did not give it all 5 stars because, well it's not meant to be lugging around everywhere that's what the juniors and PTG models are for but as far as moving it around the house like in/out of yhe garage or patio its really easy to do for its size and wheel size as well.

Traeger Texas Elite 34 Rocks!
Best grill, by far, we have ever owned. Even us old folks were able to assemble it in about 1 hour; not including the unboxing time. The build quality surpasses any other brand we owned. The lid has not discolored as other brands have. The set it and leave it is so easy. Cleanup is much easier. Best compliment is mmmm mmmm good! We recommend Traeger to all.

Unparalled Customer Care
I bought the Century 34 from Costco and had some paint problems with it. I called in to Traeger to report the issue I had and they were kind enough to send me a replacement barrel and lid. The grill may cost a pretty penny but you can't put a price on wonderful AMERICAN customer support. The lady I dealt with showed me that the workers stand behind the product that they sell. As for the grill... well you should have already added it to your cart. What is your holdup? Pull the Traeger already!!

Q. I just purchased this grill and am concerned that everything I make will have a smoky taste? If I use the gourmet pallets how would that turn out?
Daun Henning
Brooklyn Park, Minnesota
A. You can control the amount of smoke flavor on your food by temperature and cook length. Longer cooks on low temps will produce a smoked taste. Shorter cooks on higher temps will produce more of a wood fired flavor.

Q. How do I unpack the grill with one person?
Loyd Ellis
Peoria, Arizona
A. You would just take the top box off set the grill on its back and attach the legs. You might need someone to help you set the grill right side up when you are done though. We recommend offering a friend something off he grill for helping put it together.
