First, thanks for a great product. I was hesitant at first and actually thought that people were crazy for spending the money on a Traeger, and then I bought a Pro Series 34. Right out of the box it was incredible. I put it to the test on some smoked salmon. Living in Alaska for 12 years, I smoked a lot of salmon, and I got real good at it. So I prepared a batch and smoked half of the salmon on the Traeger, and the other half on my electric, tried-and-true smoker. (My electric smoker was the first thing I packed when I moved from Alaska) Same temperature, same everything, but the Traeger finished first, looked better, and by far tasted the best. Old tried-and-true went in the trash.
Since then I have cooked/smoked everything on this machine. From the garden, to about every type of fish or animal, and it has never let me down. My sons refer to it as their fourth brother, and they seem to find every excuse to be around the house when there may be a chance that the smoker will be on. I use my Traeger several times a week, and it is very rare that the oven in the house is ever used. My wife is also a fan, and I catch her cooking on it almost as much as myself. I am anxious to get the new Timberline, and I will once I wear my old one out. The problem with that is after 3 years, and no issues, I may be stuck with it forever.

Blow my mind
I have had my smoker for four years. If I have a problem they take care of it with no questions asked. The food is amazing. I have become famous around the world for my smoking. I travel to many countries and people follow my smoking and love it. Those near my home often ask to come back to experience my ribs. I want to get my second smoker soon. YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG in buying this.

I purchased my elite 34 over six (6) years ago and use it at least once a week without a single problem . It is still working just as good as it did the first day.
On Christmas eve day, I put a brisket on and set the temp. at 225. It never varied more than 2 or 3 degrees the whole 10 hours I grilled it.Considering that I live in North Dakota and the outside temperature was -5 degrees, I think that was amazing. It doesn't matter what the weather is, it will hold at what ever temperature you set it at.
It is not only for ribs and brisket. I've cooked about every thing you can think of. Bacon, chicken, turkey, stuffed pork chops, smoked my own bacon, etc. Crank the heat up and throw a frozen pizza on for 10 minutes, it's great. Never have I had a grill of any sort that will last as long or be as versatile as this grill/smoker is.
I live in a small town and 6 of my neighbors now own a traeger. All had to check it out after smelling that mouth-watering aroma of the smoke coming from my yard. One look at what it can do and they were hooked.
