Traeger grills take the labor-intensive element out achieving delicious wood-fired taste. Just set it and forget it, and let the Traeger do the rest.

The Process

  • Convection Process

An induction fan circulates rich, hardwood smoke throughout the cook chamber for even heat and epic flavor distribution.

  • Hopper

Load the hopper to the brim with 100% Hardwood for hours of smoking and grilling without reloading.

  • Auger

It fuels the fire, moving Hardwood from Hopper to Fire Pot—briskly for hot and fast, or gradually for low and slow cooking.

  • Flavor

Hickory pellets hail from the Midwest, East Coast and Canada, this flavor profile is most commonly used to smoke bacon, and gives a strong, sweet, and savory flavor.

  • Pairing

Take your chicken, pork, beef, and vegetables to new levels with hickory smoked flavor additions.

  • Mill to Grill

Only Traeger mills their own pellets from recycled trees, this ensures they’re 100% natural and no artificial binders are used. Pellets are bagged and delivered directly to a Traeger warehouse for distribution.

Healthy Eating

Food cooked over wood fire simply tastes better. The rich, hardwood smoke circulates throughout the cooker, naturally flavoring your food. With no need to over salt and oil your foods, you’ll create simpler, healthier meals.

The Science
Behind Hardwood

Traeger has dedicated years to developing premium blends of hardwood with the compact cell structure needed for a balanced, dependable burn with less than 1% ash content—no fillers, no binding agents, no bark content—just natural flavor.

Best. Grill. Ever.
This is hands down the best purchase I've ever made. I cook so much on this thing, I'm tired of eating meat. If you cook a burger, its the best burger you will ever eat! You really can't mess food up on this thing. If you cook chicken breast on the Traeger, the moisture literally drips out of it when you cut into it! I getting hungry just typing this review! You literally set it and forget it. If you haven't been Traegered, you are missing out lol.

Love the flavor!!!!!
I've smoked with oak, mesquite and pecan for many years. I still love those flavors too but ever since buying my Traegar I started do mixes with the Hickory and Apple and trying different blends. I will say that good ol'e hickory spices up a lot of dishes and is always a good addition of flavor no matter what level.

Q. How do I empty hopper when switching pellets?
Lynn Julius
Maricopa, Arizona
A. If you don't have a pellet dump out door, then the best option is going to be using a small cup or scoop and scooping out remaining pellets.

Q. Can you use B and B wood pellet grill fuel?0
Wylie, Texas
A. We recommend only using Traeger Brand Wood Pellets. they are 100% wood with no additives and are designed for use with the Traeger wood pellet grill, as well as the Traeger is design to burn Traeger brand pellets. we cannot guarantee other brands of pellets will work with our grill and we cannot guarantee correct temperature with other pellets.
