Easy and delicious
I bought the kit and followed the instructions with the liquor. I used a 5 gallon bucket from Home Depot to brine the turkey, which worked out well. I placed the turkey in a foil roasting pan to cook it and used a meat thermometer to make sure the temperature was right. The turkey was over 20 pounds and took a full six hours to cook. Allowing the turkey to rest for 30 minutes is key too.

I asked everyone to give me honest feedback and they all really seemed to enjoy it. Cooking it was easy and I never worried about it being burnt (like I would in an over). Just trust the process and your meat thermometer so you don't need to open the lid.

Christmas turkey
We have had our traveler for over 4 years and we love it. We decided to try the turkey pellet blend w/brine kit. It was the best turkey we have every eaten, so moist and flavorful. We will be using this kit every time when cooking a turkey for now on.

Q. How many cups of pellets does one grilling consume? I'm a first time trigger griller and I filled the entire hopper up. Were coming up on Thanksgiving and I would like to change out the pellets for another flavor. I see that the bags online are 20 lbs I just don't want to overfill the pellets each time as I experiment with new flavors. Thanks, Gary

A. The Grills should consume around 1/2 lb per hour on smoke, and 2 lbs per hour on high.
