DO TRAEGER GRILLS HAVE WIFI?

Yes, certain Traeger Grills do have WiFi. You can currently find our WiFIRE® technology in selected grills. We are implementing WiFIRE® controllers in our new lineup of grills, which include the revamped Pro series, Timberline series and the all-new Ironwood series. WiFIRE® allows you to download hundreds of recipes directly to your grill and works in tandem with GrillGuide® to navigate you through the entire cooking process. You can also change the grill temperature and monitor meat temps from your smartphone with the Traeger App and WiFIRE®.

MY GRILL WON'T CONNECT TO MY WIFI. WHAT DO I DO?

You should check the following if your WiFire controller can't connect to your WiFi network: Verify the name of the network matches the network you are trying to connect to. Spelling must match exactly, upper-case and lower-case matters.

IS A NETWORK PASSWORD REQUIRED TO CONNECT MY GRILL?

Yes, in order to protect your data security and privacy, a network password is required to connect your WiFIRE enabled grill.

We recommend securing your wi-fi connection with the strongest encryption method that is supported by your router and using a password that is difficult to break (i.e. a password that is long and obscure). We also recommend that you change the name of your wi-fi network from the default name, as many router brands and models can be identified by the pre-programmed name.
