REPLACING A WIFI CONTROLLER

REMOVING THE CONTROLLER

NOTE: If you have a Timberline, be sure to remove the WIFI antenna before removing the controller. see "Removing antenna" section below

  • Power off and unplug grill
  • Remove 4 screws that hold controller in place using phillips screwdriver
  • Unplug all plastic connectors from controller

REMOVING ANTENNA (TIMBERLINE)

  1. Power off and unplug grill
  2. Remove the lower panel. Note: the four screws are often very tight and can be difficult to loosen. Make sure that you use a #2 Phillips screwdriver that is in good shape.
  3. Remove the lower part of the external antenna
  4. While holding the upper part of the coaxial antenna connector unthread and remove the lower nut from the connector
  5. Pull the coaxial connector out of the antenna mount
  6. Continue to the next section removing the controller

INSTALLING NEW CONTROLLER

  1. Timberlines only: feed the line for the WiFi antenna back through the controller hole
  2. Plug all plastic connectors into new controller
  3. Reinsert 4 screws that hold controller in place
  4. Timberline only: reinstall the coaxial connector to the antenna mount and reattach the bottom panel.
  5. Plug in grill and turn on
