Traeger grills take the labor-intensive element out achieving delicious wood-fired taste. Just set it and forget it, and let the Traeger do the rest.

The Process

  • Convection Process

An induction fan circulates rich, hardwood smoke throughout the cook chamber for even heat and epic flavor distribution.

  • Hopper

Load the hopper to the brim with 100% Hardwood for hours of smoking and grilling without reloading.

  • Auger

It fuels the fire, moving Hardwood from Hopper to Fire Pot—briskly for hot and fast, or gradually for low and slow cooking.

  • Firepot

A hot rod at the bottom of the Fire Pot ignites the Hardwood, keeping the fire going so you can relax and drink a cold one.

  • Energy Economy

Powered by a standard, household outlet, it uses 300 watts for the first four minutes and only 50 watts for the rest of the cook.

  • Shut Down Cycle

This sweet setting keeps the induction fan running for 10 minutes to lift residual ash from the fire pot and shuts off automatically.

Traeger 34
I love this grill. It took a little bit of practice to figure it out but it has been reliable, excellent for larger cuts of meat, ribs, roasts etc. Burgers are just ok however as it bakes the patties more than searing them but it's probably just me. It does go through the pellets fairly quickly but the taste is worth it. The only issue I had was the grease pan rusted but it was replaced under warranty. The warranty runs three years. I do use a grill cover and which I highly recommend.

I can't believe it, but I love it!!
I have been a wood smoker (not gas or electric) for 20 years and got tired one day of the production involved in smoking. I couldn't just smoke something for myself without hours of work. I have several friends with gas smokers and I didn't feel the taste was anywhere close to real wood. Then I saw my Brother's Traeger and ate some awesome baby back ribs at his house. Soon I bought my own Traeger and have given my wood smoker to a friend. I am awe struck as to the ease and flavor of the Traeger grill. You have a customer for life!!

I love my traeger pro 34 ! Set up was super easy that my 6 year old son help with most of the leg assembly . I did have to wipe excessive oil off internal metal I was afraid it could cause a fire . I did have small issue with initial start up it was building up to smoke temperature but I was patient and cleared out fire pot and reignited 3 times and that was all . I used it for ribs, pizza, today chicken leg quarters everything comes off perfectly I could be more happy . But I would say it excessive price tag and I hate the fact I couldn't track my order also they are many items back ordered and been a month nearly since I ordered prime rib rub n still waiting . I also called customer service and I may have to wait nearly a month for my pellet storage lid ordered on 23rd of Aug n was told may take to Sept 20 th before it gets to me.

Q. I live in Hawaii (Oahu) and am trying to find a Pro Series 34. Where do I buy without paying exorbitant shipping costs? In fact Amazon won't even ship it to Hawaii. Haven't found a local dealer, yet. Thanks.
Waipahu, Hawaii
A. We would check out dealer locator. We're seeing 5 dealers on the island of O'ahu that sell pro 34's

Q. Does the 34 take longer to heat up than the 22? If I want 4 burgers for a quick dinner how long am I looking at with the 34?
Robert g
Papillion , Nebraska
A. The pro 34 should heat up just as fast as the pro 22, it will use a very small amount more pellets to get there.
