Smoked Hot Buttered Rum

Cheers to the Holidays with an all-time classic cocktail infused with smoky flavor in our Smoked Hot Buttered Rum recipe.

Ingredients

2 cups Water

1/4 cup BROWN SUGAR

1/2 STICK BUTTER, MELTED

1 TSP GROUND CINNAMON

1/4 TSP GROUND NUTMEG

PINCH GROUND CLOVES

PINCH SALT

6 OZ rum

Preparation

When ready to cook, set temperature to 180℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes. For optimal flavor, use Super Smoke if available.

In a shallow baking dish, combine all ingredients except for the rum and place directly on the grill grate. Smoke for 30 minutes.

Remove from the grill and pour into the pitcher of a blender. Process until somewhat frothy.

Pour 1.5 ounces of rum each into 4 glasses. Split hot butter mixture evenly between the four glasses.

Garnish with a cinnamon stick and freshly grated nutmeg. Enjoy!
