Diva Q's pig candy is what you get when you cross a pig with some sweet confections. This treat, which comes from Diva Q's Barbecue cookbook, is great to keep in the refrigerator for snack time but will be hard keeping around for long.

    Steps

    • 1

When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 250℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
    • 2

Place the bacon slices in a single layer on a large disposable, perforated aluminum pan. Brush each bacon slice with maple syrup. Sprinkle generously with brown sugar, then chipotle powder.
    • 3

Place the pan on the grill and cook until the bacon has absorbed the brown sugar and is crispy, about 1 hour. Remove the bacon from the pan and place in a single layer on a wire rack set over a rimmed baking sheet.
