When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 375 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.
Place thighs and wings in a large bowl, add olive oil and Traeger Chicken Rub. Mix well. Cover bowl and refrigerate for 3 to 8 hours.
Place chicken directly on the grill grate and cook for 45 minutes. Check the internal temperature of the chicken, it is considered done at 165 degrees F however, a finished temperature of 175 to 180 degrees F results in a better texture in dark meat.
Once the finished temperature is reached, remove chicken from the grill and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes and serve. Enjoy!
