What's this?

What’s better than a cheeseburger? Nothing really, unless you add two more patties into the mix. Give Traeger’s Triple Cheeseburger recipe a go the next time you do burger night at the house.

Ingredients

  • 4 Pound ground beef

  • As Needed Traeger Beef Rub

  • 2 Tablespoon mayonnaise

  • 1 Tablespoon ketchup

  • 2 Teaspoon sweet pickle relish

  • 1/2 Teaspoon sugar

  • 1/2 Teaspoon distilled white vinegar

  • 12 Slices American cheese

  • 4 hamburger buns

  • 1 white onion, sliced

  • 1 Tomatoes, sliced

  • As Needed butter lettuce

Steps

  • 1

Form meat mixture into 12 (5 oz) patties and sprinkle both sides generously with Traeger Beef Rub.
  • 2

For the Special Sauce: Mix all ingredients for sauce together and set aside until ready to use.
  • 3

When ready to cook, set temperature to High and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
  • 4

Arrange patties on grill grate and cook for 4 minutes, flip and cook 2 minutes longer. Top with cheese and cook 2 more minutes or until cheese has melted.
  • 5

The last minute of cooking, place the buns on the grill to toast, if desired.
  • 6

Remove everything from the grill and build burgers with special sauce on bun, the three burger patties, tomato, lettuce, onions and pickles. Enjoy!
