Asparagus andSpinach Salad

This roasted holiday salad consists of bright greens, candied pecans, & tangy spices. If you’re ‘going green’ this delicious salad is a step in the right direction.


24 oz Baby Spinach

2 bunches Asparagus (bottoms cut off and cut into 3rds)

3 oz Olive Oil

2 oz Traeger Beef Shake

4 oz Candied Pecans

4 oz Feta Cheese

4 oz Apple Cider Vinegar

8 oz Traeger Honey Bourbon BBQ Sauce


Combine Apple Cider Vinegar and Traeger Honey Bourbon BBQ Sauce to create salad dressing.

When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 350 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.

Toss the asparagus with Olive Oil and the Traeger Beef Shake. Put asparagus in the Traeger Grilling Basket and move the basket to the grill grate.

Grill for about 10 minutes. Remove the asparagus once it is cooked.

Place the hot asparagus right on top of the bowl of spinach. Add candied pecans, feta cheese & salad dressing then toss and serve. Enjoy!
