I'm Mandy Tanner and today we're making Traeger whipped cream.

Whipped cream is super easy to make. I'm going to do it by hand but you could certainly use a mixer.

You'll want to start with really cold cream (that will help incorporate the air a lot easier) and a really good whisk. I like a balloon whisk myself, but you could certainly use any other type of whisk that you might have.

We're going to flavor it with some Traeger simple syrup and sweeten it with some powdered sugar. That will also help stabilize the cream so if you make it in advance and put it in your fridge, it's not going to completely deflate.

Let's get started. Put some cream in your bowl. When you're whisking, your arm can get really tired if you're using your whole shoulder so you'll just want to use small movements with your hand. Be sure to use a large bowl with big sides, that'll keep the cream in the bowl so you don't end up wearing all of your whipped cream.

You can see it starting to get a little frothy before we add in the powdered sugar. That looks pretty good. I can start sprinkling in the powdered sugar, and this will help it hold the air that I'm incorporating. Now add big movements with the whisk. You can see it starting to thicken and hold a soft peak.

If your cream starts to get a little bit grainy looking, you can always add a little bit more cream and it'll bring it back to life. Just whisk that in and you'll get a much more smooth consistency and some beautiful stiff peaks.

At this point is when I will flavor it with our Traeger simple syrup. It's smoked and it's got a hint of vanilla and clove. It's beautiful and it goes great with so many different dessert recipes. One of my favorite flavors, and you get that smoky element too.

Let's take a taste. That's incredible. It's sweet. You've got that warm vanilla and clove and the smoky flavors from the Traeger smoked simple syrup.

You'll definitely want to make this.
